Financial Services

The financial services division is responsible for all the financial transactions made between the student and the office during the scholarship. The division works hand-in-hand with the academic services division in providing accurate, on-time support making sure that all cultural office financial commitments are processed and fulfilled.

We coordinate with the academic services division from the day the student arrives in the U.S.A. and Canada, guide them throughout their scholarship and make sure they are properly funded, allowing them to concentrate on more important things in their life as an international student.

The division also acts as an advisor for students, resolving any concern they may have in the course of their studies. May it be as simple as opening a bank account to as complex as resolving insurance claims.

The following list exemplifies regular duties of financial services:

•   Issue checks for fees concerning student application.
•   Arrange for temporary accommodation for student.
•   Participate in student orientation.
•   Enroll student and eligible family members with Health Insurance Company.
•   Issue necessary certificates.
•   Pay for student allowances.
•   Pay for student school bills.
•   Pay for student medical bills.
•   Preparation of financial reports.
•   Preparation of annual budget.
•   Respond to all financial inquiries from student, school and providers.
•   Maintain student financial files.
•   Maintain Oman scholarship sponsor financial files.
