Omani grad Student Awarded
Best Student Research Paper
Environmental Engineering PhD candidate Mahad Baawain was
awarded the Best Student Research Paper Presentation for his paper titled
"The Use of PIV/PLIF to Study the Liquid-Phase Backmixing in an
Impinging-Jet Ozone Bubble Column" at the International Ozone
Association's (IOA) 17th World Congress in Strasbourg, France on August 22-25.
His supervisors are Drs Mohamed Gamal El-Din and Daniel W Smith. Congratulations
Mahad!
