Dear Omani Students,
Welcome back to your schools and colleges for another wonderful semester/quarter. We wish you a safe journey back and hope that all of you are settled in your schools. Please keep in contact with us and inform us of any delay in your departure.
We know that some of you have taken more than three months of vacation while others did not take a single week. No matter what the case, we hope you enjoyed your summer and are ready for the upcoming semester/quarter. Dr. Talib also took some time off from the office, although it was not really a vacation. Similarly, some of the staff members at the Cultural Division had the pleasure to take a vacation while others did not. I am acting for Dr. Talib during his absence and I hope you are receiving the same fine service as before.
As we informed you before, the Cultural Division has moved to a new office on August 1, 2005. Please send all your correspondence to our new address to avoid unnecessary delays. Also note our new phone numbers below.
As you may know, some of your brothers and sisters in the U.S. and Canada have graduated and returned to Oman. We miss them dearly and hope they will achieve success in their futures.
During these days we are extremely busy receiving new students and placing them in the best institutions. I would like to take some time to remind everyone regarding the last message we sent. We mentioned that we WOULD NOT release your September allowances until we receive your updated personal information. (Please click to see the form.)
Our only request is that upon arriving to the U.S. and Canada, you spare a few minutes of your time and send us your important contact information once you have settled. There is a form presented below that you can send back to the division email account (culturaldivision@omani.info) before the end of August for those who are already here and immediately upon arrival for those who are still to come. I would greatly appreciate this for your safety and my peace of mind.
