To All Omani Students:
Best Regards to all of you! We recently received advice/instructions from the Ministry of Higher Education to remind all our students to always follow the rules and regulations of the country they are studying in. We have sent out reminders several times regarding this matter but we still want to make sure that everyone complies to prevent any disruption in his/her studies.
The previous reminder that we sent out last April 19, 2004 regarding U.S. Immigration rules and regulations can be found by clicking on the following links:

In addition, we have uploaded an updated
document pertaining to U.S. INS SEVIS rules and regulations(prepared by NAFSA). Please read through this document since it
answers a lot of questions regarding Student Visas and Immigration rules in
matters such as:
a.
Admission
b. Admission of spouse and minor children
c. Duration of Status
d. Temporary absence
e. Transfers of School/Program
f. Annual Vacation
g. Graduation
h. Emergency circumstances
i. Full course of Studies
j. Extension of Duration of Status
k. Extension of Duration of Stay
l. Employment and training programs
m. Reinstatement
n. Changes in Name and Address
