To all Omani students,

Due to new U.S. rules & regulations and instructions from the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman, the Cultural Division will be unable to issue Financial Guarantees for any sponsored or private student for any period of time unless we receive sufficient funds from the sponsor of that student that will cover the whole period of the Financial Guarantee.

Please contact your sponsor to make sure that they send the Cultural Division the appropriate funds before you, your sponsor or your university requests for a Financial Guarantee from us.

Exceptions to this rule are students who are sponsored by the following:

a. Sultan Qaboos University

b. Ministry of Higher Education

c. Petroleum Development of Oman

d. Oman Telecommunications
