Dear Students,

We received a letter today from H.E.the Ambassador regarding guidelines in obtaining a temporary newborn child’s passport. According to the letter, the following guidelines should be followed:

1. You should apply for the passport in advance, long before the intended travel period.
2. When applying for the passport, you must include the baby’s original birth certificate.
3. Travel arrangements to Oman should not be made prior to receiving the newborn child’s passport.
4. We would like to remind you that the temporary newborn child’s passport is only valid for 6 months from the issue date and can only be used for single travel.

We have also attached the letter from H.E. the Ambassador for your reference. Thank you for your cooperation.
