Dear Students,

We are pleased to inform you that we have received good news from the Oman Ministry of Information about Oman Radio and TV.

The Oman TV and Radio will now be part of the Arabic Set Satellite. In North America, satellite service will be with Telsars 5 and Hispasat 1C in South America.

The test broadcast started on March 20, 2004 and formal broadcasting will commence on April 1, 2004.
