Dear Students,

We would like to remind all of you to always abide by the rules and regulations of your scholarship. The Cultural Division is required by law to implement these rules and regulations for monitoring and administering your scholarship. Thus, failure to follow could result in disruption in your studies, monetary liability etc. Please read through the booklet that has been sent to you for reference. If you do not have a copy of the booklet, the information is always available on our website at www.omani.info/rules.htm.

Furthermore, one violation of the rules and regulations that we have had several cases is on the issue of enrollment of classes. As implied on page 48(Q&A section) of the blue booklet:

1. No student can enroll in other universities for any class/course without prior written approval from the Cultural Division.
2. Students are not allowed to drop any class/course after the dropping period is over. Thus, any monetary penalty incurred as a result of this will be the responsibility of the student and not the cultural division.
