January 7, 2004

Dear Students,

We have been receiving emails, letters and calls from a number of students asking the office to release the February 2004 salaries in advance.  Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill these requests unless legitimate reasons are provided.

For those students who seek to obtain their February salaries in advance and request the office to release it you must do the following:

  1. Send us your transcripts for the previous semester/quarter(upon release of University).
  2. Write us a letter stating legitimate reasons for your salary advance request.
  3. Make sure that for the previous 12 months, you have not requested for any salary advance (consistent requests of this kind is not allowed).

For those students who have not submitted their transcripts, you have until January 20, 2004 or as soon as the University releases it, whichever comes first.

Please be reminded that it is a requirement by the Ministry of Higher Education and it is in their rules that all students submit their transcripts.  Failure to abide by these rules will result in the delay of tuition and salary payments.

a.       Students undergoing residency.

b.      Students studying in universities where transcripts have not been released (must provide letter from university stating the reasons for delay)

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Regards,

Dr. Talib Al-Salmi
