Dear Omani Students,

The Oman Cultural Division has been getting consistent reminders from your sponsors in Oman about changes with regards to your studies. Particularly:

a.) Change in Major

b.) Change in School

c.) Extension of Scholarship

Just recently, we have sent each and every sponsored student a Student Booklet which contains all the rules and regulations imposed by the Ministry of Higher Education. If you have not read it, we encourage you to do so.

Specifically, the rules pertaining to changes with your studies can be referenced in the following pages: Change in Major (p. 49), Change in School (p. 47) and Extension of Scholarship (p. 40).

Also keep in mind that you must give our office a written letter about your intent 3 months prior to making any changes. In any case, you are not allowed to change your status without receiving a written approval from your sponsor.
